A group of artists from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Chiang Mai University in Bangkok visited our Institute.

The department of Graphic Arts, the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University, presents print work in Messages from Thailand exhibition in Lublin, Poland. Through cooperation between the UMCS Institute in Poland and the branch of graphic arts, Faculty of Fine Arts Chiang Mai University. The opening ceremony was held on 17 October 2019.

In addition to organizing exhibitions that can be viewed in our Gallery on Zana and the Gallery of Wojewódzka Biblioteka Publiczna im. Hieronima Łopacińskiego, guests also had a meeting with His Magnificence Rector, prof. dr hab. Stanisław Michałowski. They have also visited our studios. The trip will result in future collaboration between UMCS and Chiang Mai University.
The possibility of mutual exchange of experience with world-class artists is a source of our pride and joy.

Hieronima Łopacińskiego, goście znaleźli również czas na spotkanie z Jego Magnificencją Rektorem prof. dr hab. Stanisławem Michałowskim oraz wizytę w pracowniach. Podróż zaowocuje przyszłą współpracą między UMCS, a Uniwersytetem w Chiang Mai.

The exhibition "Bestiarium kosmiczne" was presented to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Artur Popek's artistic work as part of the Traveling Art Gallery series. The vernissage took place on 17th of October at 17:30 at the Cyprian Kamil Norwid Art School in Lublin.

Wystawa prof. dr hab. Artura Popka „Bestiarium Kosmiczne, malarstwo i grafika" zotała zorganizowana z okazji 35-lecia pracy twórczej artysty w ramach cyklu Objazdowa Galeria Sztuki. Wernisaż odbył się 17.10.19 r. o godz. 17:30 w Zespole Szkół Plastycznych im. Cypriana Kamila Norwida w Lublinie.
During the ceremony, the Union of Lublin Medal was handed to the professor. It is awarded to people particularly distinguished for activities in the field of international promotion of the Lublin city.
Professor Artur Popek also received the Cultural Award of the Lublin Province.
Congratulations on behalf of all employees and students! Thank you for the creative activity that enriches the cultural life of Lublin residents. We wish you many more equally fruitful years!
Podczas uroczystości wręczono profesorowi Arturowi Popkowi Medal Unii Lubelskiej. Przyznawany jest osobom szczególnie zasłużonym dla Lublina, w szczególności za działalność na polu międzynarodowej promocji Miasta.
Profesor Artur Popek otrzymał również Nagrodę Kulturalną Województwa Lubelskiego.
