The last day of the five-day Royal Cremation ceremony of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.



















































The last day of the five-day Royal Cremation ceremony of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.



The Royal Relics which have been temporarily kept at Dusit Maha Prasad Throne Hall were transferred to Chakri Maha Prasad Throne Hall within the Grand Palace and enshrined in the Heavenly Abode.



The Royal Ashes were transferred from the Temple of the Emerald Buddha to be enshrined at two temples–Wat Rajabopidh and Wat Bovoranives.



Two final procession of honour–the fifth and sixth procession were held today for the transfer of the Royal Relics and Royal Ashes.



The Royal Relics were placed upon the Royal Palanquin with Four Poles in the fifth procession from Dusit Maha Prasad Throne Hall to Chakri Maha Prasad Throne Hall.



The Royal Ashes were placed on a royal car in the sixth procession from Dusit Maha Prasad Throne Hall to to Wat Rajabopidh and Wat Bovoranives.

10.40am: HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn arrived at the Dusit Maha Prasad Throne Hall and offers food to monks.



12.00: His Majesty the King, members of the royal family, and high-ranking officials attended the religious ceremony at Dusit Maha Prasad Throne Hall listen to sermon.



1.50pm: Preparation for the 5th procession of honour, transferring the Royal Relics from Dusit Maha Prasad to Chakri Maha Prasad Throne Hall. Lord Chamberlain asked permission from His Majesty the King to transfer the Royal Relics  upon the Royal Palanquin with Four Poles.




2.07pm: The Royal Relics were transferred from Dusit Maha Prasad Throne Hall and placed upon the Royal Palanquin with Four Poles in the fifth procession of honour.



2.10pm: Commencement of the fifth procession of honour transferring the Royal Relics to Chakri Maha Prasad Throne Hall, where the Royal Relics were  enshrined in the Heavenly Abode. His Majesty the King and members of the royal family attended the procession which takes 10 minutes.



2.20pm: The procession of honour carrying the Royal Relics arrived at Chakri Maha Prasad Throne Hall.



2.35pm: The ceremony to enshrine the Royal Relics in the Heavenly Abode in Chakri Maha Prasad Throne Hall was completed. His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn and members of the royal family left the Throne Hall.



5.30pm: HM the King arrived at the Grand Palace to attend the procession of honour to carry Royal Ashes to Wat Rajabopidh and Wat Bovoranives.



5.35pm: The Royal Ashes, in two containers, had been moved from a Chedi at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha to the royal car in the 6th and final procession.



5.45pm: Commencement of the sixth and final procession of honour. His Majesty the King and Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn carried Royal Ashes containers inside a royal car in the procession. Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari took part in this procession in her capacity as the commander of the Calvary of Honour.
